Boac, Marinduque, Philippines — In a landmark stride towards achieving university status and expanding its global footprint, MSC proudly announces the launch of its 1st International Conference on Science and Technology.

The working committee for the 1st International Conference on Science, Technology and AI Applications 2024 met at the Office of the President’s Conference Room, at MSC’s Main Campus on May 8, 2024 to begin organizing the event. The Conference is scheduled on September 26-27, 2024 via hybrid set-up, with invited international experts to deliver the Plenary Talks.

The said committee is chaired by Dr. Liza Marie Manoos-Pacia, Research Director, with the Conference host, the College of Engineering, headed by its Dean, Engr. Melito L. Hirondo, and assisted by Eng. Bryan B. Jaranilla, R&E Coordinator. The meeting was attended by other committee chairpersons who were oriented on their various roles, as part of the preparations for the upcoming International Conference. The theme for this year’s conference is “Advancing Education Towards Responsive Glocalized Economy Through Multidisciplinary Research and Development”.

The R&E Department is grateful for the encouragement and direction from MSC President Prof. Diosdado P. Zulueta, and Prof. Ma. Edelwina M. Blase-VP for Research Development and Extension, and the whole administration for supporting this upcoming international event.
