Manila, Philippines — Faculty members from the College of Business and Accountancy (CBA) at Marinduque State University (MarSU) actively participated in the prestigious Entrepreneurship Educators Association of the Philippines (ENEDA) International Conference, held on September 13-14, 2024, at Miriam College’s Henry Sy, Sr. Innovation Center. Themed “Cultivating Innovation: Empowering Entrepreneurship through Technology, Research, and Inclusivity,” the conference brought together educators, researchers, and professionals to discuss cutting-edge trends shaping the future of entrepreneurship education.
The MarSU-CBA delegation immersed led by Dean Assoc. Prof. Dr. Verna Liza L. Capiña themselves in insightful discussions and workshops aimed at integrating technology and research into entrepreneurial education. This aligns with the university’s commitment to fostering innovation and inclusivity in its curriculum, ensuring that students are equipped with relevant skills for the evolving business landscape.
Keynote speakers from various sectors highlighted how technological advancements and inclusive practices can drive entrepreneurial growth, especially in the Philippine context. The event provided a platform for knowledge sharing, networking, and collaboration, further enhancing MarSU-CBA’s role in shaping future business leaders.
The participation of MarSU-CBA faculty in this international conference underscores the college’s dedication to continuous professional development, enabling them to bring fresh ideas and perspectives to their students and to the wider academic community.
Aside from the active participation in insightful discussions from plenary speakers, CBA faculty members will also be presenting five (5) conference papers.
