Los Baños, Laguna, Philippines — The Marinduque State University led by its smart working and celebrity University President, Dr. Diosdado P. Zulueta is currently attending the 2024 National Research Management Training with the theme “Empowering Research Management with Data Analytics, Compelling Storytelling, and Effective Fundraising”. Hosted and organized by the Philippine Association of Research Managers, Inc. (PHILARM), the activity is set to roll on October 24-26, 2024 at Elvira O. Tan Hall, DOST-PCAARRD, Los Baños, Laguna.
Aside from the training sessions, other activities include PHILARM General Assembly Meeting, and Fellowship, Recognition and Turnover Night where PDPZ will accept the leadership as the Incoming PHILARM National President 2025-2026.
Despite the prevailing weather disturbances occurring in the country, PDPZ and other MarSU participants ensured their attendance at the event as part of the institution’s commitment to research management and productivity.
Together with PDPZ are Asso. Prof. Alfredo M. Ofrecio III (Director, Financial Services), Mr. Joshua Breganza and Ms. Jessica Semilla.
Attending also via Zoom platform are officials, faculty members, and personnel from MarSU comprised of Dr. Ma. Edelwina M. Blase (Vice President for Research & Extension), Dr. Liza Marie M. Manoos-Pacia (Research Director), Dr. Ernesto Largado ( Dean, College of Arts & Social Sciences) with faculty members from CASS: Asst. Prof. Jholey Rose L. Lancion, Mr. Jerome Lingon and Dr. Rosalyn J. Dasco, while while Dr. Verna Liza L. Capiňa (Dean, CBA) and Mr. Carlo M. Castro attended from the College of Business and Accountancy, Dr. Paloma D. De Chavez (Dean, College of Fisheries and Aquatic Sciences) and Ms. Cherry Rose M. Robles (College of Agriculture).
