Boac, Marinduque, Philippines — As MarSU commits to maintaining the highest standards of quality and reliability in its academic resources, the Internal Audit Services and Supply and Property Management Unit received and inspected the new equipment for the Mechanical Engineering Laboratory on November 13, 2024 at the College of Engineering Bldg., MarSU Boac, Marinduque.
The new equipment acquisition was made possible through the generous funding from the Commission on Higher Education (CHED) amounting to Php 23,000,000.00 which aims to elevate the educational experience for mechanical engineering students by procuring essential equipment. The newly delivered items include Small Engine Test Set and Thermal Power Plant with Steam Engine Trainer.
Present during the inspection from IAS and SPMU were Mr. Geomarc Llasos (Internal Auditor) and Mr. Jonard Agcaoili (SPMU Admin. Officer) together with the College of Engineering faculty members composed of Engr. Melito L. Hirondo (Dean, CENG), Engr. Jayrule Rodil, Engr. Garry John Magararu (TWG) and Mechanical Engineering students. Additionally, the supplier for the project is State Alliance Enterprises IC.
For the mechanical engineering students, this development means unparalleled access to cutting-edge tools and technology, enabling them to gain practical experience and hands-on skills crucial for their future careers. The new equipment will empower students to undertake advanced experiments, enhance their understanding of engineering principles, and prepare them to tackle real-world challenges with confidence.
