Pasay City, Philippines — The Marinduque State University led by President, Prof. Dr. Diosdado P. Zulueta, participated in the Senate Plenary deliberation for the State Universities and Colleges (SUCs) appropriation for Fiscal Year 2025 on November 19, 2024, held at the Senate of the Philippines, Pasay City.

Hon. Sen. Pia Cayetano presided over the hearing, an advocate for augmented financing for State Universities and Colleges (SUCs) underscoring the significance of great education in fostering national advancement.

The program and initiatives slated in the proposal will prioritize funding to enhance and develop SUCs to improve educational quality, modernize buildings and equipment, enhance the learning experience and expand programs and courses that address the country’s pressing needs.

Together with PDPZ were Asso. Prof. Alfredo M. Ofrecio III (Director of Financial Services) and Mr. Joshua Breganza.
