Odiongan, Romblon, Philippines — In a celebration of academic excellence and global engagement, Marinduque State University (MarSU) led by its President, Prof. Dr. Diosdado P. Zulueta had the honor of witnessing the unveiling of Romblon State University’s (RSU) WURI Marker for the Sustainable Development Goals (SDG) Spotlight and the Hall of Internationalization. The event, held on November 25, 2024, at the Administration Building, Main Campus, Romblon State University in Odiongan marked a significant milestone in RSU’s commitment to advancing sustainable development and fostering international collaboration.

RSU ranks 261 among 300 global creative universities, acknowledged for its contributions to innovation, entrepreneurship, and social impact. This distinction demonstrates the university’s dedication to fostering an ecosystem of innovation, creativity, and social engagement.

The unveiling ceremony was attended by distinguished guests, including RSU faculty, staff, students, local government officials and international partners, and other key dignitaries.

The event concluded with a tour of the newly established Hall of Internationalization, where attendees explored exhibits showcasing RSU’s international projects and partnerships. This occasion not only strengthened the bond between MarSU and RSU but also underscored the importance of collective efforts in achieving sustainable development goals and enhancing global education networks.
