Nagoya, Japan — Marinduque State University joins the 24th Asian Association of Agricultural Colleges and Universities’ (AAACU) Biennial Conference and General Assembly with the theme “The Nagoya Protocol in Nagoya: Wise and Harmonized Use of Bioresources in the international Community” which is scheduled on December 2-6, 2024 at Noyori Conference Hall, Nagoya University, Nagoya, Japan.
MarSU has been an active member of AAACU for a number of years.
The conference aims to showcase the importance of sustainable and equitable use of biological resources to conserve and sustainably use genetic resources.
Marinduque State University’s delegation, led by Dr. Diosdado P. Zulueta, President of MarSU, actively engaged in the conference’s various sessions and workshops as part of MarSU’s ongoing internationalization and research efforts.
Additionally, the conference featured keynote speeches, panel discussions, and networking opportunities, enabling MarSU delegates to showcase various research projects and explore potential partnerships with other academic institutions.
Together with Prof. Zulueta is Asso. Prof. Alfredo M. Ofrecio III (Chief, Presidential Management Staff/Director, Financial Services).
