Boac, Marinduque, Philippines — As a culminating activity for their subject: Decent Work Employment and Transcultural Nursing, 4th Year Nursing students from the College of Allied Health Sciences, transformed the MarSU gymnasium into a dazzling melting pot of nations with colorful costumes, exhibitions, and cultural performances on December 3, 2024.

Initiated by CAHS’ Instructor, CAHS Head of Foreign and International Linkages and MarSU Foreign Student Unit Coordinator, Ms. Maria Joan C. Ocampo, RN, the students wowed their visitors with a vibrant display of color, music, and traditions from around the world, demonstrating their ability to integrate academic knowledge with practical, real-world applications.

This event highlights the students’ understanding and appreciation of diverse cultural practices and their significance in the field of healthcare, and is in line with MarSU’s commitment to fostering a comprehensive educational experience that prepares students for the global workforce.

Among the special guests for the event were VP for Student Affairs and Services and CAHS Dean, Asso. Prof. Marvin P. Plata, RM, RN, MAN, and VP for Student Affairs and Services, and International Relations Director, Asst. Prof.Raoul J. Magcamit, LPT, MPA, who both conveyed inspiring messages to the students.
