Torrijos, Marinduque, Philippines — Marinduque State University (MarSU) celebrates a remarkable achievement as the 3rd-year Bachelor of Technology and Livelihood Education (BTLEd) major in Home Economics students of the College of Education proudly posted a 100% passing rate in the National Certificate (NC) II – Cookery assessment. The assessment, conducted by the Technical Education and Skills Development Authority (TESDA), was held from December 2 – 4, 2024 at the Torrijos Poblacion School of Arts and Trades.

This outstanding performance underscores the students’ dedication, skill, and competence in their field, as well as the exceptional quality of education and training provided by MarSU’s College of Education.

The success of the students was made possible through the expert guidance of their mentors, Mr. Frannie Rodil, the Instructor for Cookery, and Ms. Clarivel M. Miranda, Program Chair of BTLEd-HE. Their mentorship and unwavering support were instrumental in preparing the students for the rigorous assessment.

Special acknowledgment is also extended to Dr. Joy S. Montejo, Dean of the College of Education & inspiration of MarSU President Prof. Dr. Diosdado P. Zulueta whose leadership and vision continue to inspire excellence among faculty and students alike.

The 100% passing rate not only highlights the dedication of MarSU’s educators but also reaffirms the University’s commitment to producing highly competent and globally competitive graduates.
