Bangkok, Thailand — The faculty members of the College of Environmental Studies (CES) participated in the recently concluded International Conference on Environmental Education in Southeast Asia (ICEESEA) 2024, organized by the Philippine Network of Educators of the Environment (PNEE). The conference took place at Margay Garden Hotel, Bangkok, Thailand, from November 20-22, 2024. This year’s theme was “Ecological Literacy: Contributions of Environmental Educators in Shaping a Sustainable Future.”

Dr. Evangeline Mandia, College Dean and PNEE Member, Ms. Lenie Rodriguez, University President Executive Assistant, and Ms. Juliepearl Brion, CES faculty member, presented their research papers during the conference. The Rotary Club of Pattaya Global also invited Dr. Mandia to speak on the 11 Green Themes for Sustainability and Best Practices in Mangrove Rehabilitation and Aquasilviculture.
