Taguig, Philippines — As innovators continue to redefine the future of learning and environment, our smart working and celebrity MarSU President, Prof. Diosdado P. Zulueta, took part in the Elevate, Educate, Empower (E3): Transforming Learning and Development for Higher Level Competencies Conference on November 14, 2024, at Sarus Ballroom B&C, Marquis Building, BGC, Taguig gathering influential thinkers, specialists from various sectors, and representatives from the government.

PDPZ is exploring a partnership with Informatics and Skillsoft to provide micro-credentials. This will focus on providing learners with short, skill-oriented courses. In the fast-changing digital environment of today, State Universities and Colleges (SUCs) are essential in shaping the future workforce of the Philippines. To meet the growing demand for skilled professionals, Skillsoft provides a comprehensive learning platform that enhances education and research capabilities in SUCs.

Mr. Leonardo A. Riingen, President and CEO of Informatics, commenced the event with his welcoming remarks. He expressed that “the citizen must leverage our technology to enhance our organization in order to take advantage of the current developments in the digital economy.” In the fast-changing digital world of today, both individuals and organizations need to adjust and create new solutions to maintain their competitive edge. Utilizing technology is essential to seize new opportunities, promote growth, and cultivate a successful future.

The conference addressed the most recent advancements in learning and development, featuring innovative technologies and emerging trends, through engaging discussions and motivating presentations that will provide participants with the knowledge and tools necessary to elevate the organization to new heights.

Dr. Zorayda V. Ang (COO/Executive Vice President, Informatics Philippines) in the closing remarks, conveyed her appreciation to all the VIPs and stakeholders present at the conference. She stated, “We will continue to evolve: from E3 to E4, Elevate, Educate, Empower, and Experience. One day, you will have the opportunity to explore the Caisy platform within Skillsoft.”

MarSU’s participation to this event hosted by Informatics Philippines could enhance the university’s IT programs and research capabilities. This potential collaboration could provide students with access to industry-relevant IT education and training, improving their employability and career prospects.
