Boac, Marinduque, Philippines — Marinduque State University Board of Regents successfully held its 2nd Regular Meeting on November 21, 2024 at MarSU Board Room, Boac Marinduque, with (19) approvals and (3) deferment of all the agenda items presented.

It was presided by CHED Commissioner and MarSU BOR Chair Hon. Marita R. Canapi and attended by 6 out of 10 members of the Governing Board including BOR Vice Chair Diosdado P. Zulueta, Hon. Joy R. Profugo, Faculty Regent, Hon. Nolasco P. Revilla, Student Regent, Hon. Carina J. Motol, Private Sector Representative, Atty. Jocelia Bighani C. Sipin, representative of Cong. Lord Allan Jay Q. Velasco and other officials of the Marinduque State University as resource persons.

Additionally, the newly elected Private Sector Representative Hon. Carina J. Motol also took her oath of office before the MarSU BOR Chair Hon. Marita R. Canapi.

Among the matters that the Governing Board approved were the Cash Utilization for the 4th Quarter, Grant of CNA to MarSU Employees, Indicative Program of Receipts and Expenditures for FY 2025, Indicative Annual Procurement Plan for FY 2025, Request for Authority to Conduct Early Procurement Activities for FY 2025 particularly the procurement of 1 brand new service vehicle and purchase of various equipment, Appointment of faculty and administrative personnel, Revised MarSU Faculty Manual, Establishment of Marinduque Technology Business Incubation Center, three (3) project proposals for funding consideration of CHED, and MOAs for the implementation of various collaborative projects funded by DA-ACEF and DOST-PCAARRD.
