Boac, Marinduque, Philippines — MarSU President and newly elected PASUC National Auditor, Prof. Dr. Diosdado P. Zulueta represented Dr. Tirso A. Ronquillo-President, Philippine Association of State Universities and College at Bayanihan Media Awards (BMA) 2024 on August 09, 2024 via hybrid set-up.
Hosted and organized by Philippine National Volunteer Service Coordinating Agency-NEDA, it aims to identify and recognize media practitioners and organizations embodying responsible and ethical media practices for their outstanding role and contribution in promoting volunteerism and its importance to national development through their work, thus encouraging the public to take an active role in volunteering and make volunteerism a way of life. In addition, BMA celebrates diversity and inclusion and fosters public awareness and understanding of pressing social issues through volunteerism media content.
PDPZ, being the representative of Dr. Ronquilo, delivered a brief message of appreciation for the support of the Philippine Association of State Universities and College (PASUC) and words of commitment to its continued engagement as part of the BMA-NSC. Additionally, he also called for partnership with all HEIs in the country. PDPZ also served as one of the panelists during the Open Forum together with the members of BMA-NSC.
PASUC is one of the members of BMA-NSC together with the Philippine Information Agency (PIA), Philippine National Volunteer Service Coordinating Agency (PNVSCA), Philippine Association of State Universities and Colleges (PASUC), Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) and Ayala Foundation, Inc. (AFI).
