Boac, Marinduque, Philippines — An esteemed education and author, Ms. Corazon N. Dela Santa and Ms. May Bernadeth O. Dela Rosa paid a courtesy call to MarSU President Prof. Diosdado P. Zulueta today on October 8, 2024 at Office of the University President, MarSU Boac, Marinduque.

Ms. Corazon De La Santa originates from Boac, Marinduque, and Quezon City. She is a qualified educator who served as a Foreign Service Staff Officer with the Philippine Foreign Service. Her international assignments encompassed Hong Kong and Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada. Corazon studied at the University of Santo Tomas, the University of the Philippines, and American University in Washington, DC. She resides in Silver Spring, Maryland, and serves as a substitute teacher for the Montgomery County Public Schools.

She stated, “It will be a tremendous honor for my family and me to launch my book at the premier university of the province.” I will consistently take satisfaction in being one, regardless of the time or place.

Ms. De la Santa is set to conduct a book launching on October 10, 2024, for her book “The Other Ladies of Georgetown” at the Marinduque State University Learning Resource Center. The narrative centers on the lives of gorgeous and influential women of Filipino maids residing and working in the elite enclave of the nation’s capital, Washington D.C.
