Boac, Marinduque, Philippines — The Marinduque State University (MarSU) and the National Book Development Board (NBDB) strengthened their partnership with a formal signing for the renewal of Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) on November 13, 2024 at the Office of the President, MarSU Boac, Marinduque. This collaboration aims to advance educational and literacy initiatives in the province, providing students and the local community with increased access to valuable resources and programs.
True to the university’s commitment to enhancing educational opportunities in the province, MarSU President, Prof. Dr. Diosdado P. Zulueta signed the MOA with Dr. Randy Nobleza signed as a witness.
Also present during the signing was Mr. Jerick Jornadal (Center Administrator, Mogpog Extramura Study Center), who diligently assisted during the MOA preparation in close coordination with NBDB cluster coordinator to align the goals of MarSU and NBDB toward mutual benefits for both institutions and the Marinduque community.
This agreement focuses on fostering literacy, improving access to educational materials, and promoting a culture of reading introducing and supporting initiatives aimed at enhancing literacy and reading skills, particularly among young learners and underserved groups in Marinduque.
This renewed agreement with NBDB reflects MarSU’s dedication to being an active agent in educational development and literacy advocacy. The university anticipates that this collaboration will contribute significantly to the intellectual and social well-being of the Marinduque community, enriching lives through increased access to knowledge and resources.
